The Flos Olei Tour starts from Rome, alongside the launch of the Flos Olei 2020 Guide dedicated to the best extra virgin olive oils in the world. the event opens if it takes place on Saturday 7 December 2019 at the prestigious hotel The Westin Excelsior Rome, in Via Veneto.
Flos Olei is the first international guide dedicated to oil production companies from around the world and to their extra virgin olive oils selected, with absolute rigor criteria, by a panel of expert tasters coordinated by Marco Oreggia, curator and editor of the volume.
Made directly in two languages (Italian-English and Italian-Chinese), the Guide presents 53 countries selected on 5 continents. Italy and Spain also have a mapping of the comparison with the olive grove on a regional basis, accompanied by historical, cultural, production data, typical varieties and areas protected by denomination.
